The event is now a classic for the summer in the lower Reggio Emilia area, and every year hundreds of people flock to enjoy the meat carefully prepared by the many volunteers. The event is held on two evenings, Saturday and Sunday. The program includes a self-service dinner in the courtyard of Palazzo Greppi starting at 8 p.m. Followed by musical entertainment. Feast curated by volunteers equipped to cope with a record crowd. But beyond the mere culinary aspect, the Rib Festival also implies a solidarity purpose. The organizers will donate the proceeds to charity.
