The Fojata and Attorta Festival is one of the most anticipated food festivals of the year. It takes place every year in Sellano, from August 11 to 14 and offers tourists the chance to taste some of the typical specialties of the Valnerina.
It is a not-to-be-missed event in which the two traditional local pies, fojata salata and attorta dolce, are just the tip of the iceberg of a festival that offers much more. Participating in the Sagra della Fojata e dell'Attorta means immersing yourself in the history and traditions of the area, discovering its natural and cultural beauty and tasting the authentic flavors of Umbrian cuisine.
