The Lucignano Music Festival is thrilled to announce its fourth edition: four days of wonderful music, beauty and Tuscan dolce vita with a touch of sharing!
This year, the festival stands out with a world exclusive: the game "Paganini: The Mystery Room," a never-before-seen interactive experience that will immerse participants in the mysterious world of Niccolò Paganini. The festival offers a unique combination of exceptional concerts featuring internationally renowned musicians and an interactive game experience based on historical documents that will reveal the secrets of one of the greatest virtuosos in music history.
In detail
The festival opens Wednesday evening with a flamboyant concert featuring Irene Abrigo on violin, Jürg Dähler on viola, Giampaolo Bandini on guitar and Cesare Chiacchiaretta on bandoneon. The musical program will be interspersed with dramaturgy by Francesco Bolo Rossini, who with readings of texts and letters will guide us through the lights and shadows of the various composers.
Thursday will be the turn of a charming performance of "Peter and the Wolf," performed by the soloists of the Perugia Chamber Orchestra with the reciting voice of Francesco Bolo Rossini. A timeless classic that will enchant both young and old, bringing to life the adventures of Peter and his animal friends through the magic of music.
Friday night's "Al chiaro di luna" concert invites you to be carried away by the evocative melodies performed by the Saccon-Génot duo, a program that promises to give us moments of pure musical poetry.
The grand finale Saturday night will feature internationally renowned artists Patrick Demenga, Jürg Dähler and Hiroko Sakagami, whose dreamy and poetic program will close the 2024 festival.
For lovers of enigma, the "Mystery Room" on the life of Niccolò Paganini will offer a totally new experience of experiencing culture and music: through an immersive, interactive and engaging game, almost a 1-hour Sherlock Holmes-like journey built around epistolary and historical documents, you will discover the secrets of the legendary violinist, exploring his life and art in a whole new way.
In addition, during the week of the festival, artists will be involved in various social and educational events in collaboration with local schools and the nursing home.
To make your experience even more memorable, we have created Festival Passes that include food and wine packages. So you can enjoy not only the music, but also the culinary delights of the Valdichiana.
